Baby Lists Book Review- Posted on February 13, 2009
I’m a list maker. I make to do lists, shopping lists, lists of questions to ask doctors, teachers, family members when I call them, and lists of bills to pay. A book of lists? I’m in heaven!
babylistsBaby Lists by Elaine Farber helps to get ready for the arrival of your new baby. There are lists of products to purchase including what to buy for the nursery, bath, nursing moms, feeding, childproofing, skin-care, health-care, travel accessories, toys, books, DVD’s, music, etc. These lists provide information on websites for each product. Most items have a short description and some have a review. They are easy to find in the book as they are listed by chapter.
The other chapters include information on how to chose a hospital, a pediatrician, a nanny and what to pack for the hospital, what emergency phone numbers and information to keep on hand. Included are lists of questions to ask the doctor, the hospital, and yourself about your own birthing plan. Everything is covered. This book is perfect for first time expectant moms and for other new mothers too, especially since there are so many new products on the market.
Baby Lists: What to Do and What to Get to Prepare for Baby was included in baskets given to celebrities such as Nancy Grace, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Campbell Brown.
The author, Elaine Farber is a mother of three and a childcare professional of more than 25 years. She worked in hospitals, as a consultant to expectant parents, and a nanny with many families of multiples.
You can see excerpts of the book, ask Ms. Farber questions and read other reviews on the book’s website.

I don’t know that I’m too much of a list maker, but my best friend is totally obsessed with lists. Totally.

Yeah I like to write lists. Though I wrote a list of all the baby stuff I would ‘need’ in reality though, you dont NEED half the stuff people think you need. I mean, my grandparents didnt have most of the stuff for my parents, as I have for my son. Its not a must, just a want. Sounds like a good book though, I would buy it lol. I look at all the baby stuff and say I NEED THAT!!! lol
